On Clear Days Pick Of The Month
I was intrigued to find this book, a version published in 1987, when having a clearout of my dad’s home office recently. I decided to give it a read as it’s pretty concise, to see if it was still relevant to today’s thinking and research into mental health. It totally is. Wilson’s book is all about the concept of mindfulness (even though that word isn’t specifically used) and provides tips and techniques to try and achieve this focused state of mind. The book is easy to read, sells the benefits and provides food for thought on the topic of meditation practice and how to fit it into your daily life.
